The talk of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Pain And Glory tells of a series of re-encounters experienced by Salvador Mallo (Antonio Banderas), a film director in his physical decline. The film also stars Penélope Cruz and is directed and written by Pedro Almodóvar.

During a 30th anniversary screening of his hit film ‘Sabor’, Salvador comes into contact with the troubled lead actor Alberto Crespo (Asier Etxeandia). The meeting forces the director to re-evaluate his past by bringing to light the experiences of his childhood, his first romance and his love of cinema. This film is in Spanish with English subtitles.
