On Saturday 5th March 2011 the Haslemere Musical Society will perform the Brahms German Requiem in the Haslemere Hall at 7.30 pm.  As well as this inspirational choral work there will be the Shostakovich Festive Overture, Schubert’s Symphony No 8 (unfinished) and a work specially commissioned by the Society for chorus and orchestra.  Clive Osgood is the choir’s accompanist at rehearsals and has composed a work entitled ‘Festival Cantata’.

The concert will be conducted by James Ross and the soloists for the Brahms’ German Requiem will be Rebecca Moon (soprano) and Jon Stainsby (baritone).
