The outstanding young pianist, Martyna Jatkauskaite, was born in Lithuania in 1984. After gaining numerous prizes in European competitions, she entered the Guildhall School of Music in 2005 and won its Gold medal last year. She has appeared twice at the Petworth Festival and recently at London’s Wigmore Hall, Festival Hall and the Barbican. Her Haslemere Festival programme brings together several all-time favourites of the romantic piano repertoire:Programme:
