From producing and preserving food for the First World War to campaigning for equal pay for women, jury service, a fairer society, sustainable development and health awareness, the Women’s Institute has for a century been inspiring women and hopefully, men too! This talk will take you on a journey of the success and achievements of the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK.
