Don’t miss Major General Patrick Cordingley DSO being interviewed by veteran ITN commentator Michael Nicholson. Patrick Cordingley commanded the Desert Rats during the 1991 Gulf War. His huge tank formation led the British and American attack, which breached the Iraqi defences. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order for his leadership and bravery. Then, as a Major General, he commanded the Second UK Division, before being appointed as the military adviser to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos of Oman.
Michael Nicholson OBE is a distinguished former ITN war correspondent and author of A State of War Exists. He covered some 15 conflicts in his 25 year career, including the Gulf War. With Michael and Patrick in conversation we can expect a fascinating morning.
