Geoff Eales takes us on a breath-taking journey through the entire history of jazz piano from its early roots in ragtime and blues to Harlem stride, swing and bebop and finally to the contemporary improvisations of Herbie Hancock and Keith Jarrett. Along the way, he paystribute to, amongst others, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, Art Tatum, Erroll Garner, Oscar Peterson, Thelonius Monk and Bill Evans.

He has twelve highly acclaimed jazz albums to his name and has performed at many of the world’s leading jazz clubs such as New York’s Birdland, The Jazz Factory in Los Angeles and London’s Ronnie Scotts. “He seems to be able to play anything and his long and varied experience explains why this is possible” Tony Augarde (Music Web International).
