Featuring MARTIN HARLEY supported by Liz and the Lofty Things plus Water-Shed

Martin Harley is a deeply important and respected voice in the evolution of popular blues and folk oriented guitar and vocals. He is a phenomenally talented guitarist, singer and songwriter he fronts the highly praised UK-based acoustic trio; The Martin Harley Band. Martin’s new album MOJO FIX was recorded in Texas and is released in the UK in February 2013. Mojo Fix comes on the heels of four critically celebrated albums, years of touring and countless festivals that have built Martin a strong and solid fan-base spanning the globe.

Liz Williams sounds like a Joni Mitchell for the 21st Century. Also hailing originally from Canada, she has built a strong following with her band – The Lofty Things – in her adopted home of London and on the festival circuit in the south of England. Her songs have a warm intimacy that will perfectly suit the setting of St Stephens. Liz will be previewing songs from her forthcoming EP.

Local band water-shed will be officially launching their album, Coupons for the Moon with their full line up. Indie Music Habit’s review of Coupons for the Moon says “water-shed is a refreshing answer to modern folk music. Where most new folk artists are losing sight of its traditions, water-shed keeps it intact while bringing an edgy, southern influence to the table to make for a unique yet familiar sound that brightens the day and eases the mind.”
