Tony is steeped in the music and songs of this golden era of entertainment – for ten years, he was vocalist with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. He regularly guests with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and has appeared on Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night. He now tours with his shows which include The Gershwin Years, Let’s Face the Music and The Best of Everything.
Tony presents his foot-tapping performances with wit, enthusiasm and a deep knowledge, born of his love for the era – and it shows. Little wonder that he was nominated for Producer of the Year at the annual Encore Magazine Awards 2011. Young audiences are re-discovering the music of a golden age and flocking to it in ever-greater numbers, while the older generation can’t get enough of the melodies that have always been the soundtrack of their lives
