An hour of fun with award-winning author Julia Donaldson. Along with her husband Malcolm, Julia will be acting out her stories and singing her songs – with lots of help from the audience.
Come and meet the witch from Room on the Broom, a Singing Mermaid, a Cave Baby, and help Julia celebrate the 20th birthday of Julia’s very first book, A Squash and a Squeeze.

Julia Donaldson is the Children’s Laureate. Her rhyming stories regularly top the children’s best selling charts, and the animation of Room on the Broom was a big hit on BBC television at Christmas. Julia has also written many songs, plays and novels, and is the author of the popular Songbirds series of phonic reading books for schools.

After the event, Julia will be signing copies of her books.
