The Wizard of Oz is a fabulous, uplifting family musical complete with a magical blend of famously quirky parts from the Cowardly Lion to the Tin Man, the Scarecrow to the Wicked Witch and, of course, Dorothy and her beloved dog, Toto.  Plus, of course, the vibrant and enthusiastic chorus of Munchkins.

The show sees young Dorothy Gale longing to escape day to day drudgery on a Kansas farm, for a life Somewhere Over the Rainbow. During a dramatic tornado, her wish comes true as she and Toto are carried off into the sky and, shortly after landing in the strange land of Oz, Dorothy’s new life becomes sheer technicolour bedazzlement and strange enchantment!

In a bid to help Dorothy return to Kansas, her new friends Tin Man, Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion help her to fend off the Wicked Witch, via the famous Yellow Brick Road, so that they can reach the Emerald City and meet the wonderful but never-before-seen Wizard of Oz.

With iconic songs such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Ding Dong The Witch is Dead,” “We’re off to the See the Wizard” and “Follow the Yellow Brick Road,” audiences are guaranteed a heart-warming, sparkling evening of energised singing and dancing!
